Next Vacation A Specialty Luggage Shipper For Sure

My husband and I are talking about taking a couple of trips this year. We have not had a vacation since November 2003. I think we are due for a vacation?

I have been reading alot about how the airlines are now charging for 2nd piece of luggage. I feel that the airlines are nickel and diming us and they are gaining profits from this. I remember last fall the government said that airlines are “mishandling” checked bags at it was at a record high. How sad is that? I can not belive the airlines can not get it together but they are sure making a profit. The airlines have reduced the free allowance to two bags from three; cut the maximum weight of the bags to 50 pounds from 70; begun charging for curbside check-in; and have imposed hefty surcharges of as much as $100 whenever you check an extra (or extra-heavy) bag.

On Monday, United Airlines went even further: Most travelers on the nation’s second-largest airline will now be permitted only one free checked bag, not two. Can you belive some carriers (most notably, Spirit and Skybus) have reached the final frontier: They have unbundled luggage handling from the ticket price and charge for any bag you bring to transport inside the bellies of their aircraft.

Ok, we all know that the airlines are saying that they do a lousy job of handing checked bags and they just do not want to handle baggage check in anylonger.

Did you know that you can now pay a third party to have your luggage to be delivered to your final destination. You will pay alot more for the service but in the long run it is reliable and they offer wonderful service. Yes, they will come to your home or office, gather your bags, and make them appear at your final destination.
You can now go to the airport without having to throw your gear into a car, cab, or limo. You will be able to skip the long lines at baggage check-in and the long wait at the baggage carousel.

Here are a few specialty luggage shippers that I have found on the internet that may be useful for your next travel dates. Remember these are specialty luggage shipping services and it may cost but you will not have the hassel of shleping your luggage around, no issues at baggage check-in, and hassel free through customs.
